SERPENTINE SCULPTURES

A series of three galvanized steel curvilinear truss structural sculptures; spread out along the esplanade of the Tribeca Segment of the Hudson River Park, Manhattan, NYC. 2008 All incorporate estuarian marine forms as per the theme of the segment. “Twister” (15’6” x 27”6” x18’”) and “Offshoot” (12’ x 21’ x 12’) are shelters with native trumpet vines planted below to sheathe them. “Torque” (3’8” x 14’ x 7’) is a love seat with forged galvanized mesh.
